Artist Statement:
This was easily the hardest project I have ever done. I have ran into about every possible problem and difficulty. I can't even explain the amount of hours I spent on this. Most of my clips got deleted, I couldn't share posts on YouTube, and now my video is 1/8th of the screen even after I tried scaling on multiple different occasion's. I put the settings needed for quality and size, and it still came out to this. I tried very hard on it and nothing would work. I gave up multiple times because I couldn't figure anything out, but I kept trying and this is the best result I am going to get
I am very proud with the content I came up with. I put forth my best effort even though I know it's going to impact my grade based on the quality of the video and what is happening with the sizing. This is my first time ever working with these softwares (ARTS 2126) and I have learned so much. I have learned to give a lot of respect for people in the art industry that work with these applications as they are not easy.
Kriss Kross is very influential in my life and some of the people I look up to not only because of their music but also their fashion taste. My favorite genre of music is 90s hip hop and was the whole theme based on this project. I have based most my projects this semester on vintage themes around the 80-90s as these eras inspire my art.
